Disney's The Secret World of Arrietty comes to the historic El Capitan Theatre in the heart of Hollywood. A Japanese animated fantasy film for children of all ages, The Secret World of Arrietty explores the magical world of the Borrowers, tiny people who take up residence in other people's homes and "borrow" things to get by. Based on Mary Norton's acclaimed children's book series (The Borrowers), this film adaptation was created in Japan and originally directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi of the renowned Studio Ghibli. The English-language version was directed by Gary Rydstrom and features the voices of Bridgit Mendler, Amy Poehler, Carol Burnett and Will Arnett. My kids, grandkids and I loved the movie very much.Written on Apr 15 2009
Had a great time. Would see it again, in fact
when we got out my oldest granddaughter wanted to
see it again right away. Also loved the Theatre,
that was the first time for all of us visiting the
El Capitan.
