This imaginative adaptation asks the question you've always wanted an answer to: "What if Shakespeare had written Pulp Fiction?" Set in Elizabethan England, Pulp Shakespeare weaves the story of a pair of murderous hit men, their boss's alluring wife and a desperate knight, all brought to life by a cast of acclaimed Los Angeles Shakespearean actors. Clever and hysterical, this production is the work of Her Majesty's Secret Players and allows audiences to experience the Bard on a whole new level. Learn More

I absolutely loved it! The characters had me laughing out loud pretty much the entire time. You could tell that everything they were doing was true improv and they were really good at it. I was impressed that they could work with, literally any suggestion the audience threw out. You never quite know what to expect in small venues like the Theatre Asylum, but it was very obvious that these actors work hard on their craft (yet make it look so easy and fun!). Definitely check them out. It was great to chat with other Goldstar members in the audience that night as well!Written on Apr 03 2009

I loved this! I am not new to improv, but the fact that they had themes was new to me. Great job by the director and crew!! I loved the actress who played the secretary/Ceasar wife. Her accent was dead on in all cases. I could not take my eyes off her. I wish I knew her name so I can see her title page on IMDb.com to see what movies/TV shows she's in.Written on Apr 03 2009

I attended the Tilted Frame show and it was extremely funny and awesome. The best improv show that I have been to but also the first, so I am not sure what that means to anyone else. There was plenty of audience suggestions and also participation (I got to go up on stage and participate in the show, made the show very fun for me). Each cast member was unique in their own way. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh for a low price.Written on May 01 2009
