L.A. Phil at the Hollywood Bowl: Mozart & Beethoven
Music director of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and Grammy nominee Nicholas McGegan conducts the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a show under the stars spotlighting the orchestra's violinist Nathan Cole and violist Carrie Dennis. The concert is set to kick off with Mozart's Così fan tutte Overture from his Italian opera buffa of 1789, followed by Cole and Dennis' performance of his joyful hybrid Sinfonia Concertante, composed when he was just 23. Along with Beethoven's Contradances, the climax comes as the L.A. Phil attacks the maestro's first symphony, which honors his Viennese predecessors -- Haydn and Mozart -- while giving more than a glimpse of Beethoven's innovative musical genius.

and park at the lots available on Hollywood and Highland Ave. Cheaper and all you have to do is take a short walk up to the Bowl. Mind you it is all upill, so please wear comfortable shoes e.g. boots, flats, sneakers. If not, I'd pack some flats for walking and put your cute shoes on at the concert. :)star this tip starred
