I was expecting a really spaced out Lauren Hill, what I got was a person that did not show up for sound check which was quite evident by her constant fidgeting with head set. I found this distracting along with whoever decided to speed up the tempo on the first 5 songs, The last 4 songs were at a much better tempo which saved the nightWritten on Feb 16 2012

I'm happy I can say that I saw Lauryn Hill in concert, but never again. Waited in line for an hour, which was expected. I didn't expect to wait two hours on a Tuesday night for a Valentine's Day event to start. Especially when I had a baby sitter who had to go to school the next day. I guess having a family of her own hasn't made her considerate. To top it off, every song was rapped and unrecognizable to the point that they all lost something that was originally heart felt. Lastly, sound checks during a concert when you're already two hours late is foolish and unprofessional.Written on Feb 17 2012

Ms. Hill has lost her voice and was incapable of hitting the high notes. Even worse though was her band which sounded unrehearsed and cacophonous. The arrangement were terrible and the songs were unrecognizable. The drummer would be better suited playing with a rock band. She was not in command of her music, the audience or frankly her career. It was truly one of the worst live show I've ever seen and I've seen a lot.Written on Feb 15 2012

Dj sucked.... Ms. Hill didn't perform until close to 10pm and even then she wasn't really singing.... I was looking forward to this even but it was lame and we left early!!Written on Feb 15 2012
