The Los Angeles Philharmonic performs one of Stravinsky's most influential works, The Rite of Spring, in its 100th anniversary year. When the piece premiered in 1913 as a ballet, Stravinski's avant-garde score combined with Vaslav Nijinsky's equally avant-garde choreography nearly caused a riot in the audience and sparked a revolution that changed the course of classical music. This masterpiece of orchestral color and energy is led by a master of those elements, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Principal Conductor of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. star this review starred report as inappropriateMotley Crue and Poison were great. They played all of their fan favorites. I especially liked Motley Crue's special effects like having the drummer going upside down. It was a spectacle. However, it was not for children or pre-teens. The language was horrible. F**K and its variations were used continously. Additionally, too many old people who have not gotten out of the 80s mentality and were smoking pot. Just not family friendly!!!

For the entire Hollywood Bowl to be ON it's FEET , and STAY on it's FEET says volumes!! The light shows were great and the bands played all the favorites!! I must see Poison and Motley Crue again!
