Well worth the money and time. A nice combination of traditional & modern Spanish guitar. After show was even better with the troupe out front for talk & pictures. Julia, the producer, was warm and friendly. An invitation to the after party at D' Cache (on Riverside Dr) was a great added touch. There, David Maldonado and master drummer Ya'el performed several pieces to the delight of the crowd.
Highly recommended when Noche de Passion or David Maldonado are in LA again.

I never realized how perfect a combination of guitar + flamenco dance is to my senses. Guitar in David Maldonado's hand and taps from Cristina Hall's dancing shoes is a passionate match that you have to see it to believe the excitment that is in my memory. Every one involved brought their A game to the show, together they made a memory show that is spanish music. I loved it.

The seating was great b/c tickets through Goldstar were for general seating. The show itself was eh. The production seemed like it was thrown together with no connecting theme. Random dance performances would be done while David Maldonado was busy changing guitars. His performances were eh as well....he's rather showy and his band doesn't seem to perform well with him. I would not recommend this show to other people. The venue--Ford Theatres is great and I would go back there for other shows.
