Ralph Harris's one man show was very funny, engaging, honest and poignant. It was totally worth the schlep to Hollywood in the middle of the week, during rush hour traffic and after working all day. I liked it so much, I would even consider returning for another performance. I was totally mesmerized by his characterizations and portraits of the relatives, friends and lovers who enhanced his coming of age. You get way more than your money's worth with this ticket.

I've probably been to at least 50 one-person shows over the decades and this was one of the best I've ever seen. Comic actor Ralph Harris, who has a number of TV and movie credits, tells the story of his 94-year-old grandfather's birthday party through flashbacks of his family and friends. Harris literally loses himself in these funny - yet extremely moving - characters. By the time you are done, Harris has told a thorough and satisfying story that you will remember for some time to come.

The show is funny and charming, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This is a funny and touching trip through the life and family of Ralph Harris that you should not miss.

I first saw Ralph Harris on Last Comic Standing. He was one of the top comedians and should have gone to the finals. When I saw that he was having a one man show, I just HAD to see it. I am thoroughly glad I did. His story was well rounded, complete, touching, easy to relate you, included incredible character work, and last but certainly not least, FUNNY. He is just having one more show I believe. I encourage everyone to try to see this while you can. There is no good reason there should be any empty seats on any given night.
He’s invited to Grandpa's 94th birthday party... and yes, he has to go! (but, does he have to like everybody?) A hysterical one-man show that celebrates the hilarious, moving memories and diverse people on a journey where he discovers, that sometimes where you're from makes you who you are.
Ralph Harris has been busy with acting roles in the films Dreamgirls and Evan Almighty. He was also a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing. And the list goes on! Ralph is one of the fastest rising comedians in the business today.
Director Don Reed is fresh off a 3-month Off-Broadway run of his critically acclaimed show East 14th, which was praised by publications ranging from the New Yorker to the Harlem News.
