Good form of awareness, not informative enough. For a decent bite to eat, try out Mel's Diner (corner of Hollywood & Highland). Be on time for the show -the Q&A session with the live animals is a treat for all ages.

The Discovery channel PLANET EARTH was waayyyyyyyyy better than this crap. And it's not even in HD, wah wah. I would save your money and wait till DVD if you must see.

Although I would recommend getting the PLANET EARTH episode where they cover the ocean.

Not worth the movie-going experience - maybe on DVD. The documentary is too unfocused, at times you're above the Earth in space, other times in the ocean, then talking about the meting ice caps, then the animals - it's too much. The narration is awful and Pierce Brosnan's voice puts you to sleep. There is nothing unique in this presentation that you haven't already seen from other documentaries on the environment.

There was amazing footage and shots though the commentary & history on the animals could have been more informative. If you want to see some amazing footage about ocean life this is the movie, but if you want to learn something about the species that live there watch Planet Earth or a Nat Geo special.
