the concept was high camp, but the show itself was only intermittently
entertaining. the performers/contestants were enjoyable and fun, but
there was something uneven and even slightly boring about most of the show. Sorry.

Description

This fantastically funny event launched on May 4, 2008, with the "Miss Southern Belle Pageant,” with live performances from international recording artist Gino Walker and jazz great Rashid Lanie.

Other upcoming pageants will include (in no particular order):
Miss Asian (August 1)
Miss African American
Miss Middle Eastern
Miss Jewish
Miss Playmate
Miss Plus Size
Miss Drag Queen
Miss European

The audience and celebrity judges will decide on the winner of each month’s pageant, and that contestant, along with the 11 other winners, will compete in the year-end finals to be held in May 2009.
