Veteran stage actress and former Olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby takes flight in the title role that's defined her career and earned her a Tony nomination for the show's Broadway run. Take off with Peter Pan and the three Darling children as they fly away from their nursery to the magic and wonder of Neverland, where they encounter the cunning and evil Captain Hook, villainous pirates, a crafty crocodile and a sprightly fairy named Tinker Bell. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the adventure-filled and whimsical ride, not to mention the score that includes such classics as "I Gotta Crow," "Neverland" and "I'm Flying." Speaking of flying, the graceful Rigby has apparently soaked up some of the show's pixie dust. As The New York Times says, "Rigby still carries off the flights, fights and acrobatics that make ... audiences mesmerized."

Full Price:
$58.50
Our Price:
$43.50

The Pantages Theatre presents My Brother Marvin, a play based on the first-hand accounts of Marvin Gaye's family members. It is the most candid story of life with this musical icon that has ever been told, portraying Gaye's internal battles, greatest fears and juiciest family secrets. This is not a juke box musical -- this play highlights not the music, but the mind of Marvin Gaye, revealing secrets from his mother's innermost thoughts that have never been voiced before. Mrs. Gaye's hidden journals were recently discovered, containing candid discussion about her husband, her family and of course her superstar son. My Brother Marvin stars Emmy-winning actress Lynn Whitfield (The Josephine Baker Story), Image Award-winning actor Clifton Powell (Ray), R&B sensation Keith Washington ("Kissing You") and popular leading man Tony Grant (Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married, Love Ain't Supposed To Hurt and The Marriage Counselor). My Brother Marvin is a riveting ride through the life and times of one of the most intriguing and mysterious musical legends the world has ever known. Learn More

It up to you as to how you want to dress as we did not go as dressed up as others that were there.

Parking in the immediate area is pricey. Save by taking the Metro.

I like to dress up a bit for live theater. Alas, not that many others do.

Loved it! The show was great, as were Cathy Rigby and the rest of the cast. I also liked that Cathy Rigby signed posters, took pictures etc. after the show.

Took the kids and they enjoyed it very much. A new experience for them. An expected experience for their who have seen this version a number of times in the past.

Without a doubt this was the most over-hyped, over-acted, over-miked, over-mugged show I have ever attended. How I wish I could have seen Mary Martin in the role of Peter so long ago. Cathy Rigby postures, mugs, smirks her way through the role. The rest of the cast were adequate but acted as if they were cartoon versions of their characters. I grew up with Peter Pan and for many years nightly expected Tinker Bell and/or Peter to appear on MY window sill for the trip to Neverland. Sigh, it never happened. The man sitting next to me left at intermission, and I was tempted to do the same but stayed. At least getting to admire the wonders of the Pantages always makes up for a great deal.
