My friend and I were so excited about seeing "Pirates...." and got there around 11:30am for the 1pm show Saturday 5/21/2011. There were maybe 40 people in front of us in the General Admission line so I figured we'd have decent seats. At around 12:30 the line started to move. When we got into the theater it was mayhem. We were herded to the Balcony area (I didn't know we'd be sitting way up there!) and because people were rushing and scrambling, we ended up in the 2nd row from the back. The middle section was all Yellow/reserved sitting so we were on the side and way up in the nose-bleed section. It was very upsetting.

We loved and enjoyed the Movie! And even more so, because every time the El Capitain Venue does a great job on pre-movie pizzaze!! Well worth getting away from the usual local AMC outting.

There was enough silliness for the kids to enjoy the movie and enough sophisticated humor to keep the adults interested. Good use of 3-D, thought the screen at this theatre was a little too small for the 3-D effects.

Typical we're-still-making-money-so-lets-make-a-sequel fodder. The venue was beautiful and worth a visit (once) to see, but the balcony makes for an odd angle for watching films.
