and park at the lots available on Hollywood and Highland Ave. Cheaper and all you have to do is take a short walk up to the Bowl. Mind you it is all upill, so please wear comfortable shoes e.g. boots, flats, sneakers. If not, I'd pack some flats for walking and put your cute shoes on at the concert. :)

USE THE SHUTTLE! I have always hated The Bowl but that's because I've either driven myself or been dropped off by a friend and it's been torturous. Took the shuttle from Griffith Park and it was So. Awesome. Do it!

Great show with unannounced celebrity appearances! Just be prepared for the pot fumes that drift through the Bowl at almost every venue...

This was a very exceptional event. Quincy Jones seems a completely caring man. I loved to see that side of him with his performers. The music was wonderful.

The perennial icon of musical cool makes a rare live concert appearance in celebration of his six-decade career. Ranging from big band to the most happening stars of today’s pop, R&B, and hip-hop, this evening will be a historic performance and a glittering gathering.

Jones is the recipient of an Emmy Award for his score of the landmark TV miniseries Roots, seven Oscar nominations, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, 27 Grammy Awards, and the Grammy Living Legend Award. He is the all-time most nominated Grammy artist with a total of 79 Grammy nominations and a Kennedy Center Honoree.
