The show was awesome! The actors did a fantastice job! Great story line as well.

Sally Spectre, The Musical: "Children's Horror Story for Adults" Was wonderful! Rebecca Lane who played Sally made me believe I was watching an innocent 5 year old who was loving and confused, and not realizing what horror she had experienced.
The songs told the story of her death, filling in a lot of the "why's". What talent on that stage. The actor who played Her mixed up toy became four characters in one. His expressions were so heartfelt and he portrayed a loving childhood friend that all of us long to have as our protector.
This production filled me with childlike hope and supernatural delight!

Overall I liked it however my fiancé did not.
I thought it had a interesting plot line and good music. It was a touching show that actually made me choke up a bit at the end. BUT my fiancé thought it was boring and way too long, which I agree as some of the scenes & even characters could of been cut and/or shortened.
Overall I would recommend seeing it if you enjoy Tim Burton stylish shows as it kinda gives a background to all those "cute cartoon gothic girls". But be warned it needs A LOT of reworking, hopefully it'll get it

Sally Spectre the Musical, A Children's Horror Story for Adults is the ghastly tale of a Victorian-era five-year old girl that had a brutal run in with a twisted murderer. Little Sally never had a chance... at least not when she was living. The problem is - she doesn't know she's dead! All she knows is that one day she woke up and found herself in a restrictive purgatory that looks exactly like her bedroom. In fact, Sally has been there so long that she's invented some new ways to bring comfort to herself and her surroundings, but that comfort won't last unless she figures out how to move on from this netherworld of crazy surprises!
That's a lot for a five-year old mind... and you'd be right if you're betting that the whole situation has had some interesting effects on her behavior as she learns to navigate her new world.
Will she manage to solve the mystery that's preventing her from making it to the afterlife and the world she dreamt of as a little girl? Will she ever see her mother again? Or will she succumb to the dark and odd creatures that are lurking just under the bed? A scary and powerful tale of acceptance, truth and confronting one's fears that sings it's story with levity, insight and humor. There's a little Sally in us all...
