She is phenomenal. Such a lovely young woman, self-assured, commited to her music, imaginative, brilliant. Both the concerts with her and with Joshua Bell were outstanding and make me proud to be a Los Angeleno and Hollywood Bowl fanatic. I always tell visitors that the Bowl is the most unique place in Los Angeles--and I believe it. We are so very, very fortunate to enjoy the kind of weather, the low-priced tickets, the wealth of talent, the ongoing involvement of both the LA Phil and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, right in our back yard. No need to attend a one or two-week festival abroad or in some lovely rural or urban area in the U.S. We have so much to be grateful for, and I am!
