Based on the remarkable true story, Secretariat chronicles the spectacular journey of the 1973 Triple Crown winner. Housewife and mother Penny Chenery (Diane Lane) agrees to take over her ailing father's Virginia-based Meadow Stables, despite her lack of horse-racing knowledge. The film was great and so was the theater. I'd never been there before, but it was a really interesting theater. Beautiful curtain unveiling at the beginning of the show. Also, they had memorabilia from the film on display from various museusms. Would definitely go back!

It was a beautiful family movie about a mother who refused to give up on a dream. The theater is great and the seating was fantastic. Will definitely attend subsequent events at the El Capitan.
