When a couple suffers a tragic accident, their grief propels them into a fantastical world where the Tooth Fairy sings, their flight attendant is a cross dresser and GI Joe offers family counseling. It's a lyrically absurd journey of love, loss and laughter. Jenny Schwartz's play is directed by Rory Kozoll and features Troy Blendell, Paul Caramagno, Alana Dietze, Andrea Grano, Tara Karsian, Amanda Saunders and Jeremy Lee Shranko. God's Ear was a finalist for the 2007 Susan Smith Blackburn Award. Learn More

This is such a poignant, touching and moving play. It is a one woman play which keeps your attention from beginning to end. Very talented woman and glad to see her tell her story in her own words and of course LOVED the shoes!

I won't repeat all the cliches, but suffice it to say that it was very moving and entertaining at the same time. The theater is very small and intimate - perfect for these pieces. I met Regina briefly after the show, and she was an absolute delight. I highly recommend this show to just about anyone - I believe this weekend holds the final two shows (10/2 & 10/3) here in LA. go see it!

I enjoyed the evening and was moved by the story but found it flawed as a piece of theater. First, the events of the main character's life were presented like a list of events: first this happened, then this happened, next this happened, etc. There were so many events that she was not able to get into any of them in depth, and all the characters could be no more than stereotypes even herself. Second, I didn't really see that the shoes added to the story. They just seemed a gimmicky device. Finally, if I were the author, I might have hired a better actress to play me. I thought her acting skills were a bit limited. She had maybe two or three notes. And for all the characters and emotions she was playing, she needed more.
