Improvatorium, the company that brought you Zombience and Hitchcocked, brings you Pure Improv, a hilarious short-form improv show at Theatre Asylum. With long-form improv currently in fashion, Improvatorium returns to improvised scenes, songs, extended scenes, and traditional improv games that are now almost considered retro. The show is directed by Patrick Bristow (Ellen, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Who's Line is it Anyway?) and stars a rotating cast with a new special guest each show. Learn More

Was a lot of fun. More adults than children makes you enjoy the fact that we all have a kid in ourselves. There is also a little hero in all of us. The characters all had a hero in them.
The venue was small and quaint to enjoy and the seats were very comfortable.

We went to the musical with the family. We absolutely loved it! It was fun and funny for everyone. We could see and feel that all perfomers loved their characters and enjoyed beeing there. Our kids asked if we could go see it again, unfortunetely that was the last performance.

Great fun for the kids! The actors played along with the, at times, rowdy kinder-crowd, and the adults enjoyed it, too. One hour is just the right length of time for a children's show.

Heartfelt performances, well-meaning idea, and definitely kid-friendly. Open to input from the kids in the crowd. Sadly, not professional quality cast or production, however, (with the exception of one actor - "the bad guy"), which makes it painful for the grown-ups, and overstays its welcome with the kids, too. Hard to hear most of the actors when they are singing.
