Poor Charity Hope Valentine! She may be a true original and an eternal optimist--but she's also the unluckiest romantic in the Big Apple: when she gets dumped, she takes a real-life jump in a lake! And that's just the beginning. Molly Ringwald stars in a dazzling new touring production of this smash hit musical. Directed by Scott Faris (based on the hit 2005 Broadway revival) and choreographed by Wayne Cilento (Wicked, Aida), Sweet Charity has a hilarious book by none other than Neil Simon. The classic score features such hits as "Hey, Big Spender" and "If My Friends Could See Me Now."

I really wasn't impressed with Molly Ringwald's performance (the singing AND dancing got her out of breath a bit) as Charity, but the guy she falls for - his performance in the elevator was hilarious. The chorus' performance was great, as well. Overall, a fun time out.
This is such a fun, creative show. The very Fosse-infused dance numbers were great and so were the costumes. The whole cast was so talented. I loved the message of the musical, too; it's the kind of message that is not dated (even if the framework for the musical is the 1960s). My absolute favorite scene was the elevator scene. I've never seen claustrophobia played out with SUCH incredible imagination. And the man in the elevator has got to be the most flexible man I've ever seen in a business suit!
Thanks Goldstar for giving me the opportunity to see this hilarious, happy musical with my mom and sister. It was a wonderful girl's day out!
A high spirited, feel good show wonderfully performed by Molly Ringwald. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have recommended it to friends.
A great way to spend a few hours. Great music. My 2 daughters and I had a really great afternoon.
The songs are great. Very good production. Molly's acting makes up for her singing and dancing.

My sister and I took my mom lfor her birthday and we all had a great time! I know that this show is known as a heavy dance show and although the dancing was good it was not the shows strongest point. I felt that Molly Ringwald did a great job, she was adorable as Charity Hope Valentine. The set and lighting and audio was all great. We were near the back of ochrestra and could hear every word. Would recommend it to friends for a fun evening!
