Spend an enchanting summer evening at one of L.A.'s most iconic music venues with this classical concert from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The autumnal glow of Mozart's Concerto, featuring clarinet prodigy Kriikku, is contrasted with Mendelssohn's quicksilver visions in the overture and selections from his A Midsummer Night's Dream along with the composer's beloved Symphony No. 4 (commonly known as the "Italian"). The LA Phil will be conducted by rising star Ludovic Morlot for this gorgeous night of music under the stars. Please see the full description for additional artist and program details. Learn More
Dont be lazy, pack a nice picnic, and never forget the wine-it is a must!!! A nice picnic experience is as important as the event itself...so bring plenty of food, cheeses, crackers, anything that will make your stay enjoyable. Come early, a good picnic should last at least an hour and a half. Our Concert started at 8pm, and we were sitting already at the picnic table at 6, after parking and collecting our tickets (30 mins). Note that the picnic areas are closed 15 min before the event start.Los Angeles Philharmonic: All Mozart dining • Aug 22 2014 star this tip starred
