Experience the power and drama of classical music at one of the Hollywood Bowl's famous fireworks displays. At this year's event, enjoy the music of one of the greatest and most popular classical music composers of all time in a setting that properly shows off the exhilaration and emotion of his music. Bring a picnic dinner or purchase a meal at the Bowl and enjoy your meal in the gorgeous outdoor setting before the show starts. This year's presentation of the annual spectacular features Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme, inspired by Mozart. The LA Phil will also play pieces from Tchaikovsky's famous ballets Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake. The showpiece of the evening is the triumphant 1812 Overture, famous for its climactic volley of cannons and ringing chimes. At the Bowl, the cannons will be accompanied by a brilliant pyrotechnic display, making for a dramatic and powerful conclusion to the event.
