Big bangs and big bands combine to light up the night as The Brian Setzer Orchestra teams with conductor Thomas Wilkins and the Hollywood Bowl's own symphony for a fiery fireworks finale. The Grammy-winning Setzer's high-energy guitar playing, equally energetic vocals and outrageous style have made him one of the biggest stars in modern rockabilly and beyond. Fronting his own 18-piece ensemble, the former Stray Cats lead swinger will rock this town with his biggest hits and more. In fact, the group's concerts are so legendary that they're soon to release a collection of cuts from shows all over the world, entitled Rockabilly Riot! Live From the Planet.

Our first time to the Bowl - loved every minute of it! Great music, big screens for close-up action, amazing fireworks (how do they do that in those dry hills??) We didn't allow enough time to figure out the parking and lay-out - so come prepared. Also, leave enough time to check out the great giftshop. We also should have come earlier to check out their museum. Next time....

Maybe it was the hot evening...but I was not very impressed with this concert. I felt it would have been better to have seen it in a smaller venue where the band and orchestra and the dancers could be more appreciated.

Great show, fast-paced, both rockabilly and big band sounds mixed
