Inspired by the true story of a real-life con artist, Six Degrees of Separation follows a young black man who insinuates himself into the lives of a wealthy white New York couple by claiming that he is the son of actor Sidney Poitier. In this award-winning drama, playwright John Guare examines the threads of chance that link one person to another and the consequences of those random connections. In addition to a successful Broadway run, the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play was adapted into a 1993 film starring Will Smith, Stockard Channing and Donald Sutherland. Learn More

Been passing by this theatre for decades and glad I finally stopped, very intimate and close to the Red line station. The stage setting was not impressive but the story line and acting were great but was disappointed at the many people who arrived late when it clearly stated on my ticket that late arrivals were not allowed. Despite the annoyances, I had a a great time.
