Get the whole family out into the fresh air this summer by bringing them to the Ford Amphitheatre on Saturday mornings. Big! World! Fun! is an eight-week family series of hour-long music, dance and theatrical performances geared especially for children ages 4 to 10 and their big people. If you can get through the Starbucks line fast enough, early arrivals will get to take part in fun pre-show craft projects. Afterward, hang around for post-show meet-and-greets with the performers. I'd never been to the Ford Amphitheatre before and was so amazed at what a beautiful venue it is. Very nice areas to sit and enjoy a meal or drink before the show. The theatre size is such that even the seat in the last row is a great seat. Sound was great, staff was very nice and the background of the stage an amazing natural curtain of God's beautiful creations. The artists put on a great show and I will definitely return next year for the 3rd Annual event. I also plan on putting the Ford Ampitheatre on my list of places to attend frequently.Written on Sep 07 2010

I love going to the Ford. It's intimate, beautiful, and there's no bad seat in the house. I had a great time at this event. There were so many Latin countries represented. It was a great event on a beautiful night. The only thing is that I wish that I had remembered that you were allowed to take wine and snacks.Written on Sep 06 2010
