It was a fun event & loved the dancing Tamone character that came out before the movie started. Nice touch!Written on Oct 07 2011
The sound could have been louder and in surround sound. There were times I was trying to hear what was being said in the move because the sound was a little low.
El Capitan Theatre also needs to have more people at the concession stand to help with orders. The line was too long and the service was slow.

I had a ton of fun at the El Capitan. It was my first time at this theatre, so I wasn't too sure what to expect. When you get inside, there's an organist playing Disney's Top Tunes with great gusto. Thereafter, there's a neat scenic display on stage before it opens up to a dancing Timon.Written on Sep 19 2011
The movie didn't really differ with the addition of 3D. It took a while for my eyes to adjust, but I would've been just as happy with 2D (probably would've felt a little less dizzy at certain points).
It's funny seeing a movie that's 10 year's old.. mainly because I finally understand all the jokes I missed as a child. It was great being in a full auditorium with other adults and children who were all just as excited as I was to re-live this moment.

All the good seats were reserved and general admission ticket holders had a choice of sitting on the sides only. Even those seats were being held by people despite the policy of "no holding excessive number of seats". The ushers were useless. Unless you were in line at 6pm (the movie did not start untill 7:45pm) you had no chance to have a disent seat. The movie was good but did not make up for the unpleasant experience. This will most likely be my last time at this venue.Written on Sep 19 2011
