The Muppets are back and these exclusive screenings feature Kermit and Miss Piggy live on stage for a holiday sing-a-long before the movie. Oil has been discovered beneath the Muppet Theater and oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) plans to raze the building to drill for the black gold. Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary's girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) learn about Tex Richman's plan, and try to stop him by staging The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever, raising the $10 million needed to save the theater. But in order to stage the telethon, Walter, Mary and Gary must first help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways. Fozzie Bear now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a clinic for anger management and Gonzo is a powerful plumbing magnate.

It was overall a wonderful experience. The movie was entertaining and it is always the perfect atmosphere at the El Capitan to see a movie. It was fun to see Kermit and Miss Piggy live.Written on Nov 28 2011
I would recommend the movie and especially at the El Capitan.

We thought this was a sing-a-long to the movie. The actual sing-a-long was for some Christmas songs before the show. What a let down. Still a beautiful venue and great organ music.Written on Dec 28 2011

We all loved the Movie. It was so very funny (5+); however, gave The Mupets a 4 because the stage show was only music and no comedy. Still a good time had b all!Written on Dec 27 2011
