Great show, great talent and good music. Well preformed...the show diffently has some great potential. However (being critical here) the show as only 1:40 minutes long and I felt it was kinda rushed for no reason. The show could of added an extra 30 mins of dialoge and still of been as great as it was.

Quotes & Highlights

  • "Recklessly satirical...bubbles up from a truly underground well and is often very funny on its own terms. Its everything-but-the-kitchen-sink verve suggests there's plenty of life yet in post-Charles Ludlam/Ethyl Eichelberger stage camp." --Variety

Description

Evelyn Jones lives in a shiny happy suburban fantasy. But when God and Satan emerge from her washing machine to enlist her help in preventing a hostile corporate takeover of Heaven and Hades, Evelyn begins to unravel. Can she serve hors d'oeuvres while thwarting the devilish advances of her husband's boss? Is it the Valium or did biker chicks just stick up her Tupperware party? Are her whites really their whitest? Can she save her children and the world as we know it from the evil empire of Product-o-Matic?

Spectacularly subversive with a sparkling retro-rock score, THE POSSESSION OF MRS. JONES attracted a cult following when previously workshopped in San Francisco.

Under the sure-handed direction of Charles Herman-Wurmfeld (KISSING JESSICA STEIN, LEGALLY BLONDE 2), this rock-and-roll theater extravaganza is sure to entertain and leave audiences smiling with plenty of food for thought.
