I have to give all the performers props for incorporating music with comedy (as if stand up wasn't hard enough). The host Chris was especially nice and welcoming. Show didn't start on time, half the menu was not available, drinks were pricy. If you come in early enough, you can get in for free, they never checked for tickets (at least mine).
The Strings of Comedy show was very good. All of the performers were talented comedians and musicans. Would highly recommend this performance to any fan of comedy. The M Bar is a nice venue. My wife and I both had a nice dinner there. Valet parking in the lot is $4.50.
Enjoyable evening, good food, easy parking. Comics were lots of fun though some were better than others. Sets could have been a little shorter. Particularly enjoyed Alison Block and Oded Gross! Would probably attend again.

According to owner-actor Joe Reynolds, the "M" stands for music, martinis and mangia (Italian for "eat"). Enter through red velvet drapes to find a speakeasy-like interior dripping in dramatic red, from the vinyl booths to the server's micro-miniskirt. The crowd is eclectic and the mood is bohemian--low lighting, high artistic vibe.
