The Tennessee Three are not a “tribute act” or “cover band”, but rather the original men who provided the unique sound that powered nearly every Johnny Cash stage show and recording since 1960. Cited as an inspiration by hundreds of contemporary musicians in virtually every genre ranging from country, rock, punk, rockabilly, pop and many more, the legendary members of this band, including lead guitarist Bob Wootton and W.S. "Fluke" Holland, are held in the highest regard by both fans and peers alike. Their set consists primarily of the historic music they played with Johnny Cash along with their popular original material.
