I've been a friend and comrade of Beth's for about 20 years and although I have ALWAYS admired her talent... I was speechless after the play. The acting was superb and devastating. Some audience members left during intermission, but I am convinced they couldn't take the truth that was being shown to them in the story!! And Del Shores is an spectacular writer... so powerful, but so touching...and seemingly, having spoken to him afterwards for a while, a wonderful human being. The closing night fried chicken and pie wasn't a bad deal either!!Written on Aug 09 2006
Thanks for the night and the experience. Susan Damante
