I'm a little disappointed. The whole point to ga all the way to Hollywood was to see and interact with the live characters, but ALL we saw was a one-minute dance from ONE character and suddenly dissapeared. Very disspapointing.
To whomever read this, I recommend you skip the trip and the hassle to go to El Capitan and rent the DVD. I'm not being bitter, I'm just being honest.

My wife is a BIG Tinker Bell fan and she truly enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed the convenience and ease of using Goldstar. Not to mention the discounts we always receive with very good seats.
It was as easy as always, showed up at the theater will call window, picked up the tickets and enjoyed the evening.

Took my 6 hr old daughter- she loved the movie. Movie was cute, but the "special appearance" by Tinkerbell was ridiculous -at most 2 minutes long! She came out of nowwhere, danced a bit and left. Everyone in the audience was confused and wondering if any other characters were going to come out- nothing! I love this theater and other shows we've seen have been nice...but they really dropped the ball on this one! Luckily the movie was cute, had dinner at the soda fountain so that made the evening.

The event itself was very cute. My 3 year old daughter loved it. But the movie was pretty sub par. And I actually found that she got bored of the movie about half way through, which did not happen for Wall-E or Kung Fu Panda....

I loved how fancy the theater was inside, complete with a talented organist playing songs from Disney movies. I went with a 7-year-old and a 3-year old, and they both absolutely loved it, especially when Tinkerbell herself came out and danced on the stage before the film.

The movie was cute; we all enjoyed it and El Capitan is really a beautiful theatre. It was fun and I knew it would be a different experience than going to the local theatre. There were the "street characters" (action heroes, etc.) outside, which made it fun for the kids and us grown ups too...but
It had been a few years since I was at El Capitan and I was disappointed that we did not make it in time to see Tinkerbell-Live, on stage. That was the whole point of going all the way there to see her and hopefully other Disney characters as I had seen when I saw "The Lion King" there back in ???. Disney had put on such a great stage show for it, that I really wanted my niece and nephew to have a great experience. I was glad we walked down to the stage afterwards to look at the architecture when Ken, a very helpful usher there, kindly filled us in on what we had missed and told us of other events that had taken place and how El Capitan had prepared for them. My niece was excited to hear all he had to say and I felt better that this helped make up for our late arrival. He said Tinkerbell was only onstage for a couple of minutes, welcoming everyone, blowing kisses and fairy dust, etc. and then she was gone! My nephew picked up some of the fairy dust to take home.
I did not realize that Hollywood Boulevard would be soo congested as we had made good time on the freeway, we even tried turning up to some side streets, but with streets closed and construction going on we got lead back to Hollywood Blvd and by the time we found parking and got out of the parking structure and to the theatre the show had already started, so we missed the beginning of that too. Anyway, for future theatergoers, please mention that Hollywood Boulevard can get quite congested and to allow or factor another 30-45 min (at least) for that.

The music played before the show started was too loud, especially considering it was played for kids! Such loud music is really bad for children's ears and their nervous system. Otherwise, the movies was great and my daughter really enjoyed it.
Also, the parking right next to the theater costed me $20, the same amount I paid for the tickets. Is there another place one can park? If it is the only option, I might not return to El Capitan!!!

My friend and I took our 4 and 5 year olds as a special girls night out and they LOVED it! The movie was cute and it's always worth the trip toi El Capitan because it's such a beautiful theatre. It's a fun and different experience than the movie theatre down the street. An organist played a medley of Disney songs before the show and then Tinker Bell came out and did a little dance and blew kisses to the audience before the curtain went up. It was very cute.

Very impressed, my 5 yr. old daughter left very happy. The live Tinkerbell in the beginning was adorable and my 9 year old son and I laughed out loud often too.

Good Movie, Cute and really Funny...
The only thing is that Tinker Bell dose not play the same personality that everyone know her by, but still I enjoyed it. My G/F and her little sister Loved it... big fans

We had a Great time. The El Capitan is always fabulous. I brought two girls ages 6 and 8 who complained that tinkerbell was a baby film. They ended up having more fun then anyone in the theatre.

The kids really enjoyed this movie, and were surprised to see that Tinkerbell could talk! They did have fun, but wished the event was more interactive, like many other shows at the El Capitan.

More Details
For the first time in history, Tinker Bell, one of the world’s most beloved animated characters, will speak in an all-new original film that reveals many of life’s wondrous mysteries of nature in this full-length CG animated movie filled with magic and adventure.
Long before Peter Pan and the Lost Boys soared into Never Land, the world’s most beloved fairy and her friends were creating their own special magic. For the very first time in film, Tinker Bell opens the doors to Pixie Hollow, a secret hideaway deep in the heart of Never Land, where the Disney Fairies make their home.
Introducing extraordinary new characters, Tinker Bell is enhanced by an impressive voice cast widely acclaimed for performances on stage and screen. Mae Whitman (Independence Day, One Fine Day) gives Tinker Bell her first true voice, and Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award winner America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) provides the voice of the mischievous Fawn, an animal fairy. Five-time Image Award honoree Raven-Symoné (College Road Trip) fills the illuminating role of Iridessa, a light fairy; Tony® Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies) offers the elegant tones of Rosetta, a garden fairy; and two-time SAG Awardee Lucy Liu (Dirty Sexy Money) plays Silvermist, an endearing water fairy. In addition, singer-songwriter Jesse McCartney lends his voice to Terence, keeper of the pixie dust, and Academy Award® winning actress Anjelica Huston (Prizzi’s Honor) reigns over Pixie Hollow as the voice of Queen Clarion.
