With a score by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, West Side Story re-imagines Romeo and Juliet in the world of 1950s New York street gangs. For this special event, the LA Phil will accompany the film's timeless tunes, including "Maria," "Somewhere" and "I Feel Pretty."

This was a once in a lifetime event, and I wouldn't have known about it without Goldstar! I took my son and a group of friends, and we all had an amazing time. The seats were good, and we had a great picnic before the show, a must at the Hollywood Bowl!

Watching it with a live orchestra really made the movie come alive. Much better than just watching it on television. I also love the fact you can bring your own food and picnic before the event.

We had a great time inside this event. The show was great BUT the PARKING IS HORRIBLE......I don't plan to ever park at the Hollywood Bowl again. It took us almost 1 hour to get out. It was very stressful.
