Slasher is the story of a D-list Hollywood movie director, Marc Hunter, who goes to Texas to shoot Bloodbath, a low-budget slasher flick. After he loses his name actress he casts a local Hooter Girl named Sheena McKinney as "The Last Girl" to be killed. This unleashes the thwarted feminist rage of Sheena's invalid mother. The ensuing events -- comical, intense and emotional -- result in a degree of horror Marc could never have imagined. Learn More
I came prepared to see exactly what I did see, a comedy about the heyday of the swapping parties. The characters were a little over the top, (although I knew many people exactly like them), but the story line was pure 70's. You could see that the audience members were all around during those years, and remembered exactly what went on then, the smiles and laughs were abundant.

I read the reviews and was sort of dismayed about my purchase. BUT...... I went anyway and enjoyed the play immensely. My husband 41 and myself 36, went July 17. The venue is very cozy and suited the play well. I would definitely see it again. I would recommend to anyone that is not offended by sexual jokes. There are a few crude jokes about homosexuality, that one would be offended by there a few and far in between. The title details what the play is about. If you are a prude, stay away. If you are an open individual, go see it. My husband loved it.

I haven't laughed so much in a long time. The cast was great - particularly Cody Chappel and it was a lot of fun. The theater is small so you're really close to the actors and it makes for a nice intimate feel.

The play has it's ups and downs. The actors are excellent in their roles but the dialog sometimes misses the mark. Still laughed quite often.

Could have been less preachy.

Good show!! Great talented actors! Lots of good laffs!!!

Lots of clever lines, great characters! I really enjoyed this show.

I don't really know what to say, other than, I'm a pretty open person but I thought the lines used were a little crude. Maybe I was expecting the play to start off with just couples deciding to wife swap as opposed to the other. Nevertheless, the actors were very colorful and lively. It's definitely not boring!!!

Embarrasingly early-70's in it's premise and generally insulting to the intelligence of the audience. Even given the subject matter (and presumably everyone understood what it was when buying tickets) it was very unsophisticated and cringe-inducing. Went because I loved "Voice Lessons" -- Justin Tanner should stick to plays other than sexual farces.

If you are in for a good laugh. This one is halarious.
