This production of Young Frankenstein was terrific! I specially loved the lighting special effects and set designs! Great cast who delivered a wonderful, funny and full of energy performance. This was your typical Broadway musical. The songs were not the best and you probable won't remember them but overall, an awesome way to end you evening! Goldstar provided us with center orchestra seats!Written on Aug 09 2010

I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars on this one. I really wanted to like it. I love the movie, and this is basically the movie with a bunch of mediocre songs tossed in, and with some of the charm missing. I thought the cast (with one glaring exception - I didn't much care for Elizabeth) did an excellent job with what they had. The stagecraft was top notch. It just didn't add anything to the movie for me, and I felt it should have. Maybe if I had liked the songs better I'd be giving a different review, but I just can't say that I loved this one.Written on Aug 09 2010

The overall, it was great! I am theater stage tech and how the scenery, changes and performers coordinated was a wow. The scenery work excellent and how the production designer made it work was great.Written on Aug 09 2010
I took my former wife and present wife and each had their own opinion. First wife loved all of it where as second wife felt the first act lack spark, energy and did not move the story as fast as it should have. Yet, the second act came to life and gave the production punch it needed for the end.
It was well worth the evening.
