Big rip off. Doors opened at 8pm and we got there about 8:15. Lame DJ started about 8:45. No one seemed to know where the band was or when they were going to come on. We finally left at 10 after being told that they weren't sure where the band was or when they would start. Expensive drinks while we were waiting and no in/out option at the door. We won't be returning to House of Blues for awhile. Very disappointing.
About the Ticket Supplier: House of Blues Houston
House of Blues Houston opened in October of 2008 and is located in downtown Houston. The only House of Blues to be designed in a vertical format, this massive venue is the anchor for the Houston Pavilions outdoor shopping and entertainment complex. The Bronze Peacock Room pays tribute to Houston’s first blues club where Big Momma Thornton and Lightnin’ Hopkins played. The giant hand-painted mural in the restaurant portrays these legends, along with hometown heroes Albert Collins Johnny “Guitar” Watson. In keeping with tradition, the House of Blues Houston displays the “Crazy Quilt” and keeps a metal box of mud from the Delta Mississippi underneath its stage.
