The concert was a combo of one piano four hands and two pianos four hands -- the performers were well in sync and talented musicians. The fifth star on the review was withheld due to the performers' choice of program music -- while I could appreciate the difficulty of the chosen pieces, I found it difficult to connect with the more modern repertoire. I was happy that they performed a more melodious encore to finish off the evening.
