Great event! Good, clean family fun. And it's actually very funny! A thousand times better quality cast and venue than Third Coast Theatre. If you are reading these reviews trying to decide between Third Coast and ComedySportz, hands down chose ComedySportz.

Theatre is set up in rows so it can be challenging for small children to sit in the back even with booster seats. They told me that the earlier you buy tickets the better your seats are.

They have concessions and alcoholic drinks....but I didn't get the impression that the 8pm show is a party show, like it is at the one in Chicago. They have red and blue fly swaggers that you can buy to vote for which team does better on games. $3 a pair. My kids loved that.

Reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars: a little too warm where I was sitting, kids' view partially blocked by adults sitting in front of us, and I would prefer it to be set up like the one in Chicago with cafe tables and chairs (felt a little close to people around me).

I highly recommend it for families with school-age kids, or any age for that matter.

Funny and clean. Loved the interaction with the audience. Quick witted and kept you on your toes.

The show was hilarious. We were definitely laughing the entire time. Although they do ask for audience participation, it's on a volunteer basis so don't worry about being called on or made fun of. Also, as promised, they did keep it totally clean and appropriate for all ages.

When I bought tickets, Goldstar said it was general admission open seating, so we arrived early thinking we would need to claim seats. It turns out you don't get to pick your seats, the venue makes the seating plan so we ended up in the first row all the way off to the right. Would definitely recommend calling the venue and asking for a seat in the center, even if it is further back.
