Good luck trying to find a parking place on the streets. Most parking around Jones Hall is still almost non-existent, and if you see a street where you think you can park, check carefully to see if the meter station has a "hood" over it. If it does, don't risk getting a $75 parking ticket.

Parking can be a little crazy, so arrive early.

This dance troupe had two wonderful components: José Porcel himself and the cantaores who supported the troupe. The other dancers in the troupe were above average, but they lacked a superlative female dancer.

Description

When the culture of the Gypsies collided with that of the people of Andalucia in southern Spain more than seven centuries ago, a magical thing happened—flamenco music and dance emerged!

Born in the heart of Andalucia, Seville’s superstar José Porcel returns to the roots of flamenco with Gyspy Fire. Get set for a fiery evening of passion and seduction as Porcel and his stunning dancers present the purest and oldest forms of flamenco, combining song, dance and guitar with passionate Spanish rhythms, preserving the style, customs and experiences of that region.
