I saw this Opera/Mariachi Band program a couple of years ago when they still had no scenery or costumes. At that time, the Mariachis played for at least 30 minutes (maybe more) before the Opera was performed by singers seated in a chairs in front...continued

We brought a guest from out of town. All of us were enchanted by the music and the setting. Some of the acting seemed a bit stilted to me, but every other aspect of this production was excellent and inspiring.
