Edge Theatre presents Me, Myself & I by Edward Albee (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf). Albee, known for his impeccably crafted examinations of the modern condition, mixed theatricality with biting dialogue to revolutionize post-war American theater. Me, Myself & I, written in 2007, is the story of two identical twins whose own mother cannot tell them apart. They even have virtually the same names (OTTO and otto). This complex and quirky absurdist drama is characterized by clever wordplay that explores issues of identity and self. Edge Theatre's production stars real life identical twins Ryan and Austin Jacobs.

The actors did a nice job with a flawed script. The plot (if you can call it that) made no sense. I do not know what Albee was "on" when he wrote it.Written on Mar 06 2012
