In the grand tradition of theatrical melodrama, Kris Thompson's new play Bad Medicine is an old-fashioned barn-burner replete with over-the-top romance, a mustache-twirling villain and a jangly live piano score. There's even popcorn on hand to hurl at the smooth-talking snake oil salesman bad guy Bodkin Shamley, who arrives on the scene to try and steal the lovely Nurse Becky Trueheart away from her childhood sweetheart Sheriff Gene Ranger. You'll cheer, boo and shake with laughter at this madcap homage to stagecraft of yore. Learn More

We took a group of 22 to this delightful play, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The story line was entertaining, and the acting was superb. And the staff at the theater could not have been more warm and helpful - even guided by phone some of our group members who were lost. We will be going back to other productions!
