Brazilian Independence Day Bash: Live Music, Dancing, Drink Specials
Brazilian Independence Day just happens to fall on Labor Day weekend, so you can feel free to let loose and party Rio-style at this carnaval-type celebration. JP Poupard and his band will be on hand, playing samba, pagode and more, and the Sambabom dancers are set to make a special guest appearance. The Funplex gets in on the fun with traditional dishes and drink specials for purchase, along with plenty of Brazil's national drink, the caipirinha, ready to go. Women are admitted free before 10:00pm, and the bash runs till 2:00am, so there's plenty of time to do some serious partying -- especially if you're off on Labor Day.
