The renowned St. Lawrence Quartet returns to the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts with one of chamber music's most beloved piano quintets plus the Houston premiere of Kohelet
, specifically written for the St. Lawrence Quartet by Grammy Award winner and Macarthur Fellow Osvaldo Golijov. For this performance, the St. Lawrence Quartet will be joined by Stephen Prutsman, one of the most highly-regarded pianists performing today, with whom they will perform Dvorák's beloved Quintet
. In addition, there will be a pre-concert conversation one hour prior to the show with violinist Geoff Nuttall and Da Camera artistic director Sarah Rothenberg.

Welcome spring with A Baroque Wedding Feast from the Grammy-nominated music ensemble Ars Lyrica Houston. The season finale program features Baroque favorites including two beautiful Bach cantatas and a rollicking Telemann suite. You'll also hear Pachelbel's Canon in D, a wedding staple that has been adapted and sampled by everyone from the Pet Shop Boys to Coolio.
