About the Ticket Supplier: Houston Standup
The same folks who operate the Laughing Skull in Atlanta, the Laughing Devil in New York City, and Morty’s Comedy Joint in Indianapolis, the owners of Houston Standup have a tremendous amount of experience operating successful and hip comedy clubs. Houston Standup at the Hard Rock Cafe is more than just a comedy club, it is the best night out in Texas. Whether you are watching a performance by some of the world’s top comedians, enjoying one of the local draft beers, or marveling at the unique memorabilia, you’ll be having fun.
The foundation of Houston Standup lies in presenting a superior comedy show from start to finish each night using only the best talent from around the world. Houston Standup believes that comedy is art, and art is clever – uniformly rejecting tired comics looking for an outlet to test the limits of vulgarity. The search for originality and professionalism is unrelenting, and Houston Standup prides itself on both identifying the best talent of the day and cultivating future stars.
But great talent alone isn’t the key to a great show. Great pains are taken to mix and match the different material, styles, and pacing of the professional comedians in order to ensure the best combinations possible. The result is consistency: Houston Standup at the Hard Rock Cafe constructs a great show every night.
