FrenetiCore celebrates the late humor essayist David Rakoff with a production titled there is no answer as to why me, honoring his life and writing through a combination of contemporary dance, film, music, and Rakoff's own recorded voice. A frequent contributor to NPR's This American Life with stories like Christmas Freud and The Scorpion and Tortoise, his biting wit was also on display in a series of best-selling essay collections. This tribute by Houston-area choreographers Rebecca French, Ashley Horn and Aileen Mapes translates his work into movement with the help of 14 of the region's most talented dancers. Learn More

My 9yr old boy laughed so hard, I considered changing seats with him in case he was bugging the person sitting next to him.
Funny guys! They made some mistakes, but no one cared. They took the time to gear some of their comedic prattle specifically towards current events and Texans! Good research! I recommend!
Welcome to the zany world of The Flying Karamazov Brothers, where the daring and goofy take center stage. You’ve seen them on television’s Seinfeld and Ellen and in the movie The Jewel of the Nile, alongside Michael Douglas. They are Broadway and SPA favorites! In this spectacular display of versatility and agility, the four brothers use objects, musical instruments (traditional and invented), and their own bodies in an inventive mix of juggling and visual fireworks. You’ll enter the realm of “anything is possible.” The audience can even be in on the fun by bringing objects to the show for the Flying Karamazov Brothers to keep airborne!
