Travel back in time to the holidays of yore as acclaimed organist Jelani Eddington plays timeless holiday favorites such as "Sleigh Ride," "Jingle Bell Rock," and much more on the Wurlitzer theater pipe organ. He'll also accompany a 10-minute silent-film version of A Christmas Carol, produced in 1910. Standards by Gershwin, Porter, and Rodgers and Hammerstein will add to the mood of a bygone era, having you humming through the remainder of the holiday season and beyond. Jelani was the American Theatre Organ Society's 2001 Organist of the Year, and has toured extensively throughout the world in concert and as an accompanist for silent film screenings. Learn More

I loved it! The show includes audience participation when main characters involve people in various "assignments". The play is fast-paced, with some scenes starting even before the main female character can make it there, indicating the general chaos of leading parallel lives. The humor is light, but acting is profound as most of us can relate to at least once wishing our lives were different. The actors do a great job building the story up. The Phipps offers an intimate show setting in a small theater that makes Becky's New Car even more enjoyable. I highly recommend you catch this show!
