Harmonica master James Montgomery and the Nantasket Blues Project take the stage for an evening of true blues music at the Nantasket Ballroom. A Detroit native, Montgomery has been a staple of New England's blues scene since forming his James Montgomery Band as a Boston University student in 1970. He's gone on to share the spotlight and play live with the likes of Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Junior Wells, Bonnie Raitt, Huey Lewis and many more. The members of the Nantasket Blues Project -- guitarist Mike Lynch, harp player Scott Bronnes, bassist David Hull, trumpeter Johnny Blue Horn and guitarist Lydia Warren -- will make guest appearances throughout the show, with the entire group coming together for the finale.

The show was great, the music outstanding. James Montgomery and his band played the full 3 hours non-stop. His guest musicians were unbelievably good. We danced the entire night, enjoyed every minute of it. The venue was great as well.

Excellent venue - little disorganization at first with getting into the space and some issues with sound but generally outstanding evening and great spot for a live show!
