Pretty good but too loud and at times too much competition with Chuco's piano playing IOHO, i.e., more like Afro-Cuban & Chuco than vice versa.Written on Oct 15 2010

We greatly enjoyed the concert and were impressed by both the musicality and presentation. The drummers were outstanding. We would have liked to have heard more from the singer.Written on Oct 17 2010

Great performance of Afro-Cuban Jazz. Chucho Valdes has an undeniable unique style of arranging music. The group played an interesting twist on Duke Ellington's music. We loved the female Cuban singer Mayra Caridad Valdes, Chucho's sister, who has a deep soulful voice. We would have loved to hear at bit more of her. All in all, an outstanding and unique performance.Written on Oct 15 2010
