The Improv offers a full-service bar and serves dinner, appetizers and dessert nightly. There is a 2-drink minimum per person (which can be fulfilled with alcoholic beverages, soda, coffee or dessert).
Jake Johannsen spent three years at Iowa State University dabling in Veterinarian Science and Chemical Engineering Before moving to San Francisco to try his hand at comedy. Jake is one of David Letterman's favorit comics. With over twenty-nine Letterman apperance under his belt. Not to mention the late night with Conan O'Brian Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Johnny Carson, and Politically Incorrect. Jake was a part of the 10th annual HBO young Comedians Special, a 1/2 Hour Comedy Special, and A one Hour HBO Special titled, "This will Take About an Hour." People magazine rated the special one of the ten best shows of the year and T.V. Guide named it one of the, "50 Funniest moments of T.V."
