2011 marks the bicentennial of Franz Liszt’s birth. The special Liszt Birthday Celebration, presented by the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, begins with the second installment of the What Makes Music Beautiful? lecture series with guest lecturer, Dr. Alan Walker. A musicologist and celebrated biographer of Franz Liszt, Dr. Walker will be discussing the piano music of Franz Liszt. Lecture includes wine tasting.
