Influenced by the documentary Dogtown and Z-Boys, this kinetic, high-flying work explores themes of loss and community while using skate ramps and half-pipes as set pieces to represent an urban environment. Led by Artistic Director Jacques Heim, Diavolo's an internationally renowned modern dance company of dancers, gymnasts, acrobats and athletes. Learn More

Seats were last row balcony, but they were still great, not a bad seat in the house. Performance was overall pretty good. Don't expect Baryshnikov, but enjoyable nonetheless. Second half is better than the first, so don't leave at intermission!
This full-length, traditional production is choreographed and directed by Festival Ballet Theatre’s Artistic Director Salwa Rizkalla, and features a cast of professional dancers and more than 100 Southern California children.
